It seems unbelievable that we've made it this far. You have no idea how happy I am. This means the world to me and if we win it, it would be the best thing ever. But I'm scared, what if it goes to penalties?! Then we're dead so somehow we have to beat them in normal time. I just wish I could be there, in Germany!! In Munich at the allianz arena. I so badly want to be there, I'm so jealous of the fans who are going to go and see it lol!

Bayern are favourites, they're so lucky though. Playing in the CL final on their own ground!! They've got the home advantage but its going to be an epic match! I cant wait, I'm so excited!

Frankly, I'm not sure why Micah Richards can't get a look for England, and why John Terry is in this team is absolutely beyond me. Andy Carrol and Welbeck have both been more or less mediocre this season. If Roy chooses Lampard and Gerrard in central midfield for matchday 1 then I know that I need to place a large bet on England crashing out in round 1.

Alex Mcleish is finally sacked, after a season in which his side won exactly 7 games. Only wolves won less games, and frankly with all of the exciting young players Villa have, you really want to see them inspired and playing some exciting football. Any thoughts from Temp on this one? Who would you like to see at Villa going forward?

Gotta ask you Sid, since Euro 2012 is coming around soon, who do you think should take charge of England long-term? I've heard a lot of noise about Harry Redknapp, but he's a tactically inept manager IMO and I don't think is up to the task. Are you big on the job going to an Englishman or do you just want the best coach?

I'm just curious because Spurs' run coincides nearly exactly with Capello getting fired, you've got to wonder what is running through his and the FA's heads on this one.

Any thoughts/predictions on shocks/upsets or potential winners from anyone here?

Group A was the exact type of group the co-hosts Poland needed, because they are easily one of the weakest sides in the competition. I fancy them to progress only because they managed to draw Greece and the Czechs, that should be enough with the crowd to see them through to the quarter finals.

My one area where I think there could be a major shock is group B with Germany Holland, Denmark and Portugal. I think the Portugese are toast in this group: this team seem more of a collection of individuals than anything and this group won't allow that to progress. I think that the Germans could be a shock casualty of the group phases. The Danes and Dutch have both provided really stiff competitions for Ze Germans in the past and I could see Denmark earn a shock quarter finals place.

The Irish have an excellent record once they reach the finals, but can they really get 4 points from Croatia Italy and Spain? I think it's possible, but they need to beat Croatia and get something out of the Italy game, and then not be trounced by Spain. I rate their chances at about 1/4 chance of progress (and I hope they do!). Spain should role through this group.

Group D is really interesting, as I could see any two from 4 progressing. England look on the verge of another collapse and France are still in recovery mode. Ukraine are a decent side and have shown well recently, and the Swedes have the quality to trouble any of these sides, and they have a very good record historically against England.

Ashley Young cheats and dives to get another player sent off. The FA upholds the ban for the other player.

Vincent Kompany wins the ball against Man United. The FA chooses to uphold the 4-match ban for the ridiculous red card.

Wayne Rooney kicks the crap out of a guy. The FA appeals so that he's available to probably take a dive so that England aren't embarrassed at Euro 2012. Pathetic.
